Enphana is local-first: your wellness entries are stored on your device. Enphana keeps data on its servers only for your Enphana account and for features you choose to use: cloud backups, AI links, and nutrition share links. This policy explains how to remove each kind of data and what to check afterward.
1. Delete an Enphana account
In the App, go to Settings → Account & Subscription → Delete account and confirm. This deletes your Enphana account identity and authentication data held by Supabase, your cloud backups, and your account-linked subscription and trial-access records, and requests deletion of your customer record at RevenueCat, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, or enforcement reasons. To help prevent repeated free-trial claims, we retain a limited trial-eligibility record even after account deletion. That record may include a pseudonymous hash derived from an app installation/device identifier, an optional hash derived from the account email address, platform, and trial dates; it does not contain your wellness entries. The account association is removed when the account is deleted. The current service has no automatic expiration schedule for this retained claim. Contact privacy@colyden.com to request information about rights and deletion of retained data, subject to applicable law. It does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, delete independent purchase records held by Apple or Google, or automatically delete local SQLite data or exported files.
2. Delete cloud backups
In the App, go to Settings → Local Backups, find Cloud backups, and choose to delete a backup. Deleting a cloud backup permanently removes it from your account. Cloud backups are also removed when you delete your account. If your Premium access ends, cloud backups become eligible for deletion 90 days after it ended and are then removed by scheduled cleanup, unless you renew first.
3. Revoke AI links and share links
AI links expire automatically within 2 to 72 hours. To end one sooner, revoke it from the AI screen where you created it. When you delete your account, the App tries to revoke your active AI links first; if that attempt fails (for example, you are offline), a link can remain readable until it expires. Nutrition share links expire after 30 days. To end one sooner, go to Settings → Shared Links, which lists your active links (including those created on other devices), and choose Stop sharing. Expired and revoked shares are deleted from our servers daily, and deleting your account deletes your shares. Revoking a link stops further access through Enphana. It does not remove a copy that an AI provider, or anyone else who opened the link, has already received. To delete information from an AI app, use that app's own controls.
4. Delete active App data
In the App, go to Settings → Reset Local Data. Choose all data or the categories you want to remove, type DELETE, and confirm.
Available categories include outcomes/reflections, nutrition, experiments, projects, activity, and sleep. This removes the selected active content from Enphana's local database on that device. The App will normally restart after a full reset. Reset does not remove cloud backups, which you delete separately as described above.
5. Delete local recovery backups
Before a reset, restore, or database migration, Enphana can create a local recovery backup. A reset may therefore remove the active database while leaving a recovery copy on the device.
To remove local recovery copies, open Settings → Local Backups and select Delete for each local backup you want to remove. Repeat until none remain. Manual backups stay on the device until deleted; the App also retains a limited number of automatic recovery backups unless you delete them.
6. Delete exported files
Exports are JSON files that can contain sensitive health and wellness information. The App cannot delete an export after you have saved or shared it outside the App.
Delete exports from your device's Files/downloads location and from any recipient, cloud drive, email, messaging app, or other destination to which you sent them. Check the recipient's retention and trash/recycle-bin behavior.
7. Disconnect Apple Health or Health Connect
Disconnecting a connected platform or revoking permission prevents future imports; it does not automatically remove information already imported into Enphana.
To stop future access:
- use Settings → Import Data, under Connected Apps, in Enphana; and/or
- revoke Enphana's permissions in Apple Health, Health Connect, or your device settings.
To remove previously imported sleep, activity, or body-measurement information from Enphana, delete the corresponding data category through Settings → Reset Local Data.
8. Delete a single project or item
You can delete certain individual items in the App. Projects may remain recoverable for up to 30 days before permanent purge. Use the full reset process if you want to remove the relevant active data from the local database immediately, and delete any recovery backups as described above.
9. Uninstalling the App
Uninstalling Enphana normally removes the App and its local sandboxed data from the device, subject to your operating system, device backups, and platform behavior. It does not remove:
- your Enphana account, cloud backups, or active links (delete the account or items first, as described above);
- files you exported or shared elsewhere;
- data held in device-level, cloud, or computer backups; or
- purchase records and subscription information held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.
Cancel a paid subscription separately through the applicable app store.
10. Need help?
If the in-App controls do not work, contact privacy@colyden.com from the email address associated with your account and include your device type, App version, and a description of the issue. We can delete your account and cloud data on request, but we usually cannot remotely delete or retrieve content stored only on your device. Do not email us sensitive health entries unless we specifically ask for them through a secure process.
11. Requests, timing, and appeals
We may verify your control of an account before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 45 days; if an applicable law permits additional time, we will notify you, explain the reason, and provide an updated timeline. If we deny a request about information Colyden controls, you may appeal by replying with the subject line Privacy Appeal. For consumer-health-data rights, see the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
